A problem we sometimes see - particularly with logos - is an image with no white space between the item to be vectorized and the image edge.

Scan2CAD cannot convert items that are right at the image edge. There needs to be white space between the logo and the edge of the image.
To add white space:
Open the logo in Scan2CAD.
Go to File Menu > Raster > Statistics and note the Bit Count, the DPI and the Paper Size.
File Menu > Raster > New.
Color Depth - set to the Bit Count noted in (1).
Click OK. A white background appears.
File Menu > Tile > Add Tile from File > select your logo. Position it on the white background by dragging it somewhere then clicking.
Raster Effects Menu > Crop > drag a box around the logo, leaving some white space around it.
Scan2CAD support is free.
