Scan2CAD interactive video tutorials

Scan2CAD's interactive video tutorials guide you through various Scan2CAD operations. The videos run on your PC and are fun to work through.

Videos marked include aspects of Scan2CAD raster to vector conversion software that are available in the Pro version only.

  • Download the video tutorials you want to view.
  • Unzip them.
  • Play the videos by double clicking on the unzipped files.

    Scan2CAD video tutorials As the videos run, you will be prompted to click at the places indicated by a red and orange arrow. From time to time you will also be prompted to enter values by keyboard.

    The videos have sound. If there appears to be no sound, ensure that your PC's speakers are turned on and adjust the volume as necessary.

How to train Scan2CAD to recognize a font that it doesn't recognize by default

If your raster images use a font that Scan2CAD's default text recognition cannot recognize or cannot recognize well, such as a handwritten font, an italic font or a font that is wider or narrower than normal, you can train Scan2CAD to recognize the font. This video shows you how.
