Change the palette to the AutoCAD palette

Select Palette Menu > Select Palette Menu > AutoCAD.

AutoCAD has 256 standard colors. Scan2CAD converts each color on the raster image to the nearest AutoCAD color.

 

Change the palette to a grayscale palette

Select Palette Menu > Select Palette Menu > Grayscale.

There are 256 shades of gray including black and white. Scan2CAD converts each color on the raster image to the nearest shade of gray.

 

Change the palette to an alternative palette.

1. Select Palette Menu > Select Palette Menu > Load Palette.
2. Choose a palette from the dialog. The palette could be:
A palette supplied with Scan2CAD. Scan2CAD is supplied with palettes for various CAD, GIS and CNC programs.

The palettes supplied with Scan2CAD can be found in the Palettes sub-folder inside the Scan2CADv8 program files folder.

A palette you have saved using Palette Menu > Save Current Palette.
3. Click Open.

Scan2CAD converts each color on the image to the nearest color in the palette.
