Draw a vector arc

 

1. If they are not already selected, select the following icons:

2. If no Pick Color is selected, Scan2CAD will draw the arc in black.

If you want to draw in any other color, select a Pick Color.

3. Choose a line width using Vector Edit Menu > Pen Type > Pen Width.
4. If you want to draw the arc using a grid, set a Grid Snap Distance.
5. If you want to draw the arc using snaps, make sure that the End Point Snap and/or Between Ends Snap are turned on.
6. Position the cursor at the first point of the arc. Press down your left mouse button. Holding down your left mouse button, move your mouse to a point on the arc. A line will appear between the first point of the arc and the point on the arc. Raise your left mouse button.
7. Press down your left mouse button again. Holding down your left mouse button, move your mouse to the end point of the arc. As you move your mouse you will see the arc being drawn. When you are satisfied with the arc, raise your left mouse button.

If the are is displayed in magenta, vectors are set to display by type. Press C to toggle between displaying vectors by color or by type.
