Sending log files

You may chosose to send your Scan2CAD log file to help with troubleshooting an issue.

Please generate the log file by following the below instructions then attach the log file when emailing us.

Creating your log file

When using the Scan2CAD free trial: Click ‘Create log file’ on the Scan2CAD welcome screen.

When using the licensed Scan2CAD: Click Help > Create log file.

What information is contained in the log file?

The following information might be included in your log file:

• Paths of files that have been loaded into the application
• Some general information about the system upon which you are running Scan2CAD
• Scan2CAD’s license user identifier.

Note: Log files are encrypted.
