Control points

If you will be working quite a lot with Bezier curves within Scan2CAD, then it is important to know what control points are, and the role that they play especially as you create, resize, or edit the shape of Bezier curves. These control points are very easy to maneuver in Scan2CAD and will be very useful for your tasks.

Control points are handles that you can move to edit the size and shape of Bezier curves.


Control points are attached to the grab points at each end of a Bezier curve by control lines.


The shape of a Bezier curve is determined by the direction of the control lines.


The height or depth of a Bezier curve is determined by the length of the control lines.


To change the direction and length of the control lines, move the control points.
