Draw a raster Bezier curve

1. If they are not already selected, select the following icons:

2. If no Pick Color is selected, Scan2CAD will draw on the raster image in black.

If you want to draw in any other color, select a Pick Color.

3. Choose a pen size using Raster Edit Menu > Pen Type > Pen Width.
4. Click at the first point of the Bezier curve.
5. Click at the next point you want the Bezier curve to pass through. A dash line joins the two points.
To undo it, right click and select Undo Last Segment.
To cancel the Bezier curve completely, right click and select Quit.
6. When you finish the Bezier curve, Scan2CAD will draw a curve through the points you have entered. However, in some situations you will want a sharp angle at a point rather than a curve.

For example, let’s say you are drawing a heart and you have just entered the top middle point:

The top middle point should be sharp.

To make it sharp, right click and select Make Last Point Sharp.

When you finish the Bezier curve, the point will be sharp:

If you do not select Make Last Point Sharp, a curve will be drawn through the point when you finish the Bezier curve:

7. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you have drawn all the points the Bezier curve must pass through:

8. Right click.

To end the Bezier curve at the last point, select Complete Bezier:

To close the Bezier curve, select Close Bezier:

Scan2CAD automatically closes the Bezier curve.

Click to undo.
