One of the ways you can get better vectorization results is by increasing or reducing the color depth, or the maximum number of colors contained in the raster image. Using Scan2CAD, you have the option of changing the color depth by either increasing or decreasing it.

When vectorizing an image you will normally want to reduce its color depth. However, you can increase an image’s color depth by selecting File Menu > Raster > Change Color Depth.
You cannot undo Change Color Depth.
