|PDF files are compatible with Scan2CAD and can be vectorized using the program. If you are experiencing trouble loading PDFs, here are some things to check.
The PDF file appears to be blank
If your PDF file appears to be blank, it probably contains a solid white fill vector entity that covers the whole page.
Because PDF vector entities are displayed superimposed over PDF raster entities when you load a PDF fie into Scan2CAD, the vector entities completely obscure the raster entities.
If you have not yet loaded the PDF file into Scan2CAD, you can turn off the vector entities by deselecting the Vector option in the PDF Page Select dialog. The vector entities will not be loaded into Scan2CAD.
If you have already loaded the PDF file into Scan2CAD, you can turn off the vector entities by pressing R on your keyboard to view raster entities only. You can delete the vector entities by pressing Ctrl+F8.
