The Scanline Settings dialog appears when Scanline is the currently selected option in the Type Menu and you select Settings from the Type Menu.
There are 2 options available for this vectorization type.
To select option 1 tick ScanLines as Solids.
To select option 2 untick ScanLines as Solids.
In the examples below, the raster image and pixels are shown in gray and the vectors are superimposed in black.
Option 1 – ScanLines as Solids
When you vectorize a raster image with this option selected, Scan2CAD creates a vector image where each scanline is vectorized as a 4 sided solid.
The partially vectorized image displayed in black is made up of 4 solid black rectangles.
Option 2 – Vector Lines per ScanLine
When you vectorize a raster image with this option selected, Scan2CAD creates a vector image made up of closely spaced parallel horizontal lines.
The spacing between the lines is controlled by the Vector Lines per Scanline setting in the Scanline Settings dialog. This can be any integer value between 1 and 10.
Vector lines per scanline = 1
Scan2CAD creates one vector line per scanline (pixel row).
Vector lines per scanline = 5
Scan2CAD creates five vector lines per scanline (pixel row).
