00:01: In this quick video, I’m going to show you how we move raster objects in Scan2CAD.
00:07: In this example, I thought it would be handy if we change this bedroom into a bathroom, and this bathroom into a bedroom, simply by moving the raster text from one room to another. So here’s how we move raster objects. First, we simply [00:25] ____ Lasso an area. If you’re not able to click and drag, and get a lasso, it’s probably because you’ve not selected the Window mode. So just hit that cursor button at the top. Now that we’ve done that, we can select one of these tools. I will choose the Move tool. We’re going to click and drag, just put it around there for now. And to place it in the area where I’ve left it, I will right click the box, and choose Complete Action, and we’ve moved it.
I’m just going to do the same with this one. Again, I will use the Move tool. We could, if we wanted to, use the cut and paste instead, maybe if we wanted to paste, bathroom multiple times in this drawing. But for now, I’m just going to right click again, and hit Complete Action. And there we have it. That’s a simple way of moving raster objects in Scan2CAD.
