End Point Snap and Between Ends Snap

 

When you draw a vector or move a grab point with the End Point Snap on, the vector or grab point will snap to any vector end point within the Grab Snap Distance, which is shown by a circle around the cursor.

End Point Snap = off

End Point Snap = on

 

When you draw a vector or move a grab point with the Between Ends Snap on, the vector or grab point will snap to any part of a vector within the Grab Snap Distance, which is shown by a circle around the cursor.

Between Ends Snap = off

Between Ends Snap = on

 

How to tell whether the End Point Snap and/or Between Ends Snap are set

To see whether the End Point Snap and/or Between Ends Snap are set, look at the bottom right of the Scan2CAD window:

 

 

To turn the End Point Snap and Between Ends Snap on and off

To toggle the End Point Snap on and off do either of the following:

Press Ctrl+E
Select Vector Edit Menu > Snap to End Point.

 

To toggle the Between Ends Snap on and off do either of the following:

Press Ctrl+B
Select Vector Edit Menu > Snap Between End Points.
